A National Historic Landmark, Middleton Place is a carefully preserved 18th-century plantation that has survived revolution, Civil War, and earthquake. During the Guided House Tour you'll view the former home of four important generations of Middletons. One Middleton signed the Declaration of Independence, putting the country together; another signed the Ordinance of Secession tearing the country apart. Stroll the formal gardens and visit the stable yards during your self-guided tour time at the plantation. Enjoy lunch at Middleton Place's famous restaurant (on your own).
